Editor's Message

We are delighted to have two new members on the SDTFS Board this year. They are James Rominger and Justin Widman. Welcome to both of you, and we will be looking forward to your joining us at the Installation Dinner on Saturday night.

That Installation Dinner is an informal event, much like our regular monthly meetings, but in the Boll Weevil in Imperial Beach. Details are below. All members are invited, and we do have lots of fun. Your children are welcome.

I would like to thank John Flanagan, our outgoing President, and incoming Past President, for his two years of service. John it has been a pleasure working with you, and I look  forward to more years of working with you to keep SDTFS the exciting and eventful organization that it is.

Replacing John as President of SDTFS is Victor Tongco. Victor has been president in the past and so he is returning to an office with which he is already familiar. I have the honor of serving as Vice President, an office I have not held even though I am also a past president of SDTFS. Special thanks are also due to Karen Kees, our Secretary for returning to this important job, and to Jim Cobleigh who continues his many years of service as our Treasurer,.
