This may be the most interesting time of the year at SDTFS. Everybody is back from vacation and we are beginning fall and winter events, such as the Annual Fish Show November 2,3, and 4, the semiannual auction the following week, November 11th and great programs, such as the presentation by Chuck Rambo mentioned below. Upcoming Events at SDTFS
October 14, 2007- Chuck Rambo will show slides and speak about "Lake Tanganyika For Rookies". Chuck is a well known very active aquarist, specializing in cichlids. He works with the "Buntbarsche Bulletin", magazine of the American Cichlid Association (ACA) and is very active in the ACA. He also works with several aquarium companies, and has already shipped in to us two large boxes of contributions, literature, etc which he will distribute at the meeting.
Chuck has traveled extensively to view and collect fish in their native habitat and we can look forward to a really terrific presentation this month.
Bowl Show Results

Marc Allen won Best in Show for his goldfish, and First
and Second for his Koi.
